On the Day of peace, brotherhood and dialogue between members of different cultures and religions, held on 4 October in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the Parco archeologico del Colosseo will offer free entry to citizens and tourists.

The exhibition Carthago. The immortal myth will also remain open for the event. The exhibition has important symbolic value, “shedding light upon the multifaceted relations between Carthage and Rome”, but above all underlining the strength and value “of the meeting of the diverse cultures populating the shores of the Mediterranean”, says the director Alfonsina Russo. The exhibition is on display on the second tier of the Colosseum and in the spaces of the Temple of Romulus and the Imperial Ramp in the Roman Forum.

SUPER sites and the permanent exhibition “Il Colosseo si racconta” will not be open to visitors on this day.
