The Parco regrets to inform visitors that the area overlooked by the large apses of the Basilica of Maxentius will be temporarily closed to the public due to the detachment of a small portion of brick and concrete (c. 30 x 50 cm) which took place on 6 September. In order to identify the cause of the breakage, a structural inspection will be carried out with the aid of an aerial work platform, beginning on Wednesday 11 September, after which every effort will be made to reopen the area as soon as possible.
