Starting 1 January 2020, the Parco archeologico del Colosseo’s new ticketing system goes into effect, integrating the Imperial Forums into the various types of tickets and tours on offer with the renewed agreement between Roma Capitale, the Capitoline Superintendence and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism.

Introducing the FORUM PASS SUPER, valid for one day at the cost of €16, allowing ticketholders access to the Roman Forum, Palatine, Imperial Forums and SUPER sites (Palatine Museum, Neronian Cryptoporticus, Aula Isiaca/Loggia Mattei, House of Augustus, House of Livia, Domus Transitoria, Temple of Romulus, Santa Maria Antiqua with the Oratory of the Forty Martyrs and the Imperial Ramp). Access to the ten monumental spaces, extraordinary for their historical significance and for their pictorial cycles enhanced by multimedia technology, will remain restricted to a maximum number of visitors per day, during pre-established hours and days of the week.

But that’s not all. To make your visit to the “heart” of Rome truly complete, starting on 1 January 2020, visitors will also be able to purchase the FULL EXPERIENCE: the ticket, at the cost of €22, is valid for 2 days and allows ticketholders 1 entry to the Colosseum (including the arena or the underground tunnels) and 1 entry to the Forum Pass Super circuit (Imperial Forums, Roman Forum, Palatine, Super sites).

Furthermore, over the course of the first few months of 2020, in celebration of Roma Capitale’s 150-year anniversary, the “tour” will be further enriched by a special itinerary linked to the origins of Rome. The Parco archeologico del Colosseo and the Rome Special Superintendency for Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape are working together, in collaboration with Electa, to rediscover and restore to the public an important portion of the heart of ancient Rome: the monumental and urban area between the Forum Boarium and the southern slopes of the Palatine, with plans to reopen an existing entrance within the PArCo that would link the slopes of the Palatine to Via dei Cerchi and the Circus Maximus.

All types of ticket are available for purchase online and in PArCo ticket booths, located at Largo della Salara Vecchia/Largo Corrado Ricci, on the Via Sacra/Arch of Titus and on Via di S. Gregorio. The Forum Pass SUPER is also available at the ticket booth located at the entrance to Trajan’s Column in Piazza Santa Maria di Loreto.
