From today – the 14th June 2021 – you can become part of the community of the Parco archeologico del Colosseo by purchasing the membership card that offers unlimited entrance for 12 months to the area of the Palatine, Roman Forum and Colosseum, as well as numerous benefits reserved to its owners. With the membership card you can join a community that, on the one hand, takes care and, on the other hand, benefits from the services of the most iconic monument in Italy and the central archaeological park in Rome. It means sharing a thought of civic responsibility. A sign of mutual support for the cultural heritage.
The PArCo membership card comes in three types, aimed at a wide, heterogeneous public with different interests, cultural references and lifestyles:
- Young (25 euros) is the card reserved for those between 18 and 30 years old.
- Individual (50 euro) is the individual card for people aged 31 and over
- Family&friends (80 euro) is the card for those who want to share the experience, reserved for two adults, with the possibility of adding up to three children up to the age of 18.
The membership card can be purchased at the PArCo ticket offices or online, HERE.
The card allows residents to enjoy the richness of their city, previously an exclusive of tourists, and to become active promoters.
The invitation is to live one’s daily life within a unique green area, and to have a more conscious experience of visiting: slow, personal and intimate. In addition to unlimited admission, the membership card includes numerous concessions, including free admission to monuments with restricted entry within the archaeological area, reductions and special opportunities to attend cultural events taking place in the areas protected by the PArCo.
And we’re off to a running start: for membership card holders who like to run in the morning, from 21 June to 31 August from 8.00 to 11.00 am the entrance of Via di San Gregorio will be reserved for jogging along the southern slopes of the Palatine.
The project of the membership card of the Parco archeologico del Colosseo has been conceived in collaboration with the publishing house Electa, which is also in charge of communication and marketing, and with Coopculture for distribution and sale.
