First Sunday of every month the Parco archeologico del Colosseo adheres to the initiative with the following visiting options:
- Route Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine a single visit to the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Palatine
- Route Forum Pass to visit the Imperial Forums, the Roman Forum and the Palatine in a single visit
Tickets can be obtained, in order of arrival, at the ticket office in Piazza del Colosseo, located near the Temple of Venus and Rome. Here is a map with directions.
During the Free Sundays the Membership Card and Roma Pass holders will also be able to collect their free tickets at the ticket office, in order of arrival.
The permanent section of the exhibition event “Giacomo Boni. The dawn of modernity” will be open at the Santa Maria Nova complex.
For conservation reasons, and in compliance with the restrictions on free Sundays, it will not be possible to enter the arena and underground areas of the Colosseum, the Farnese Aviaries, the Curia Iulia or the SUPER sites of the Roman Forum-Palatine (Curia Iulia, House of Augustus, Santa Maria Antiqua, The Ramp of Domitian, Oratory of the Forty Martyrs, Temple of Romulus, Neronian Cryptoporticus, Aula Isiaca with Loggia Mattei, Palatine Museum).
As of April 1, 2022, for access to the Parco archeologico del Colosseo the possession of the “reinforced” green pass and the “basic” green pass is no longer required.
The use of masks is highly recommended.
