Tickets valid for visits on the 14th and 15th April will be valid for entry to the Forum and Palatine Hill, also for the entire day of the 16th April.

From Thursday 7th to Saturday 16th April included the access to the monuments directly facing the Colosseum square will undergo some changes to allow the necessary works for the filming of the Way of the Cross, celebrated by Pope Francis in the evening of Friday 15th April.

The following will be temporarily closed
– the terrace of the Temple of Venus and Roma
– the Baths of Elagabalus

The recently restored cell of the Temple of Venus and Roma facing the Capitol will remain open. It will be accessed from the Museum of the Roman Forum located in the Santa Maria Nova complex.

The Stations of the Cross will be broadcast worldwide by Rai Uno from 9 p.m. on the 15th of April.

The Parco archeologico del Colosseo will close from 1 PM on Friday 15th April 2022. Last entrance at 12 PM.
