On Tuesday, April 24, the Giardino Romano Garden Club of Rome donated a specimen of Cupressus Sempervirens (Mediterranean cypress) to the Parco archeologico del Colosseo and the City of Rome.

The specimen was planted in the Roman Forum, between the Curia and the Church of Santi Luca e Martina, where similar ancient plants once grew and are now lost, in one of the places most laden with history, long a meeting point of peoples and cultures.
