Join us live from the Curia Julia in the Roman Forum for the presentation of archaeologist/essayist Marisa Ranieri Panetta’s Le donne che fecero l’Impero. Tre secoli di potere all’ombra dei Cesari (The Women Who Made the Empire. Three Centuries of Power in the Caesars’ Shadow), published by Salerno Editrice.

Journalist/essayist Marco Damilano and gallerist/actress Simona Marchini will join PArCo director Alfonsina Russo to speak about Ranieri Panetta’s new publication.

The book explores the topic of the power exercised by the Caesars’ wives and mothers, entering into the public and private life of the most influential women of imperial Rome.

The event, broadcast live from the Curia Julia in the Roman Forum and on the PArCo’s Facebook page, will also be available on Youtube and as a podcast on Spotify.
