On Thursday 28 March visitors are invited to the fifth appointment in the PArCo Thursdays series: a number of conferences scheduled every Thursday afternoon in the beautiful location of the Curia Iulia.
This week’s guest is Moncef Ben Moussa, former director of the Bardo National Museum and current director of museographic development at the Institut National du Patrimoine de Tunis, who will share an in-depth insight into Tunisian museum politics at 16:30.
This initiative, promoted by the Parco archeologico del Colosseo, confirms the monumental Curia Iulia as a living cultural space, designated for debate and discussion. The space is dedicated not only to presentations of books and conversations between specialists and protagonists from the cultural sector, but also to news regarding current exhibitions and plans for the future. In this way the PArCo is able to simultaneously provide a multitude of occasions to reinforce the bond between the city and our archaeological heritage, confirming the strategy that the Parco archeologico del Colosseo, directed by Alfonsina Russo, pursues with consistency.
