On Wednesday, July 11, the Parco archeologico del Colosseo and the Department of Antiquities of the Università La Sapienza of Rome opened the gates of the archaeological site of the Horrea Vespasiani on the Via Nova.

The director of the Parco archeologico del Colosseo, Dr. Alfonsina Russo, and the director of the excavations, Prof. Paolo Carafa, presented the second event in the series of Public Archaeology in the Park of the Colosseum, the outcome of a successful and enduring collaboration with the Department of Sciences of Antiquity at Università La Sapienza .
