Ticket valid for 1 day with 1 entrance to the Colosseum, without access to the arena, and 1 entrance to the archaeological area of the Roman Forum, Imperial Fora and Palatine.

24h – Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine, the ticket that grants access to the Roman Forum, Palatine, Imperial Fora and Colosseum for guests who want to spend a whole day in the Parco archeologico del Colosseo.

The daily formula is perfect for visitors who want to take their time to discover the beauty and the treasures of the PArCo, with plenty of time to rest, study or just sit and think while walking through the Roman Forum, Palatine and Imperial Fora.
24h ticketholders will even have time to split their experience into two separate visits, to go back home for a while or take an extended break in the nearby Monti and Celio neighborhoods.

It will be possible to visit the 1st and 2nd levels of the Colosseum, together with the exhibition “Il Colosseo si racconta”, and enjoy the 3 great overlooks before reaching the exit. This ticket does not include a visit to the arena.

The ticket is valid for 24 hours from the first entry into the PArCo, which can take place at the Colosseum or the Roman Forum/Palatine area: you can organize your visit just the way you want, scheduling entry to the Colosseum and deciding whether to visit the Roman Forum, Palatine and the Imperial Fora before or after.

Available exclusively online, the 24h ticket grants a single scheduled entry to the Colosseum and a single non-scheduled entry (within 24 hours from the ticket’s first use) to the archeological area of the Roman Forum/Palatine and Imperial Fora, including entry to any temporary exhibitions in progress and the itinerary along the Southern slopes of the Palatine Hill (when available during Spring/Summer).

We advise guests to arrive at the entrance to the Colosseum 10 minutes prior to scheduled entry time. Entry to the Colosseum is not far from the Arch of Constantine, near the so-called “Valadier Terrace”. Admission to the Roman Forum and Palatine area is available at Arch of Titus entrance, Largo della Salara entrance and via del Tulliano entrance and visitors don’t need to schedule their entry time. Ticketholders will be able to visit the site depending on the area’s capacity and are free to visit it before or after their scheduled entry to the Colosseum.

24h ticket holders will be entitled to:

– a single entry to the Colosseum at a set time. Once inside, visitors will have access to the first tier (without access to the arena), from where they will proceed towards the first Station of the Cross and then follow the outer ambulatory to reach the second tier, where they can visit the “Il Colosseo si racconta” exhibition. From here, visitors can reach the Valadier Terrace, to look out over the Arch of Constantine and the Temple of Venus and Roma. In correspondence with the Porta Triumphalis, the recently restored wall painting of Jerusalem can be admired. Moving along the intermediary ambulatory, visitors can reach the area of the podium reserved for the emperor and exit the Colosseum.

– After their visit to the Colosseum, visitors can choose whether to take a break to explore the nearby Monti and Celio neighborhoods or to continue on their visit, crossing the piazza del Colosseo towards the Arch of Titus.

– From here, it is possible to reach the Palatine hill, or walking on via dei Fori Imperiali towards Largo della Salara Vecchia to enter the Roman Forum: the monuments of the central area, including the Basilica Julia, the Basilica Aemilia, the Temple of Antoninus and Faustina and the Temple of Divus Iulius, are just the first of many that will greet visitors. Proceeding from the central area of the Forum, guests walking along the Via Sacra will find the Temple of Vesta and the House of the Vestal Virgins, the Basilica of Maxentius and the Arch of Titus.

– From here, they can climb to the top of the Palatine Hillto visit the Horti Farnesiani, the area of the so-called “Huts of Romulus” and the Imperial Palace, discovering the Barberini Vineyard, the Stadium of Domitian and the Circus Maximus, which can be viewed from above thanks to a privileged outlook.

– Visit the Imperial Fora.
