The Parco archeologico del Colosseo has been selected to receive financing from the European Commission and will participate as coordinator of the TRAME (TRAces of Memories) project, financed as part of Erasmus+, the EU’s program for education, training, youth and sport. At the heart of the project, beginning in late September 2020 and including 8 partners from Italy, Serbia, Hungary, Poland and Turkey, is the topic of migrations. Through a knowledge of the legacy left by the ancient populations who moved throughout Europe, students from the project’s participating countries will be able to fully understand the value of cultural diversity as one of the cornerstones on which the very idea of the European Union was founded, as well as understanding the importance of cross-contamination as a means of shaping and enriching the cultural identities of every nation, people and person.
