Cookies Policy

Our Cookie Policy is intended to describe the types of cookies used by the website www.parcocolosseo.it (hereafter the “Site”), the functioning of the cookies installed and the ways users can select or deselect cookies present on the site and that use the services offered.

We use cookies to make our site easier and more intuitive to use. The data collected through cookies are used to make the browsing experience more enjoyable and more efficient in future.

  1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small strings of text that applications visited by users send to their terminal (usually the browser), where they are stored before being sent back to the same applications at the next visit by the same user.

The term cookies is understood as referring both to cookies themselves and all similar technologies.

Cookies are used to give quicker access to online services and improve the user’s browsing by monitoring sessions, storing user information, uploading content faster, etc.

  1. TYPES OF COOKIES

Cookies can be:

First-party cookies: are proprietary cookies used by the Site to allow the user to navigate more efficiently and/or monitor the actions performed;

Third-party cookies: are cookies set up by a site other than the one you are currently visiting in order to allow users to navigate more efficiently and/or monitor their activities.

Furthermore, we distinguish different types of cookies:

Technical and analytical cookies: are cookies related to activities strictly necessary for the operation and provision of services (e.g. session cookies for logging in), cookies related to the activity of saving preferences and optimization (e.g. cookies for saving purchases to the cart or language/currency choices, etc.), analytical cookies to collect information in an anonymous and aggregate form.

Technical cookies include:

Session or Navigation cookies: these are used to track user activity on the web. They guarantee the normal navigation and use of the Site, for example by allowing users to navigate more rapidly, make a purchase or gain authentication for access to restricted areas, and are essential to the proper functioning of the Site;

Functional Cookies: these allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected choices (for example, language, products selected for purchase, etc.) to improve the service provided;

Analytical Cookies: used to collect information on use of the Site. The Data Controller uses this information for statistical analysis, to improve the Site and simplify its use, as well as to monitor its correct functioning. This type of cookie collects anonymous information on the activity of users on the Site and the way they arrived at the Site and the pages visited. Cookies in this category are sent from the site itself or from third-party domains.

Analytical cookies can be:

First-party analytical cookies: these are similar to the regulatory technical cookies if used directly by the Site Controller without profiling the user but only to collect aggregate and anonymous information about the number of users and how they visit the Site for statistical purposes and to improve the performance of the Site;

Third-party analytical cookies: these are made available by third parties and are assimilated to technical cookies if the third parties do not profile the user through the use of instruments capable of reducing the power of identification of the cookies (for example, through the masking of significant portions of the IP address) and without combining the information collected with other data already available.

For technical cookies, only the publication of the Cookie Policy is required without the need to request consent. Disabling or deleting them when accessing the functions of your browser might compromise optimal navigation on this Site.

Profiling cookies: these are used to monitor users’ web browsing and to create profiles of their habits:

First-party profiling cookies: installed by the Data Controller to create profiles related to the user in order to send advertising messages online with the preferences shown while surfing the Net. Given their particular invasiveness of the user’s privacy, the relevant law requires that the user, after adequate information on the use of the same, has to express prior consent;

Third-party profiling cookies: used by third parties who access the information in cleartext, therefore not in anonymous and aggregate mode, and combine it with other data already in their possession. The Site does not have direct control over individual third-party cookies. The user is therefore urged to check the information about cookies on the website of the third party, following the links under point 3 of this disclosure.

The use of these cookies requires acquisition of the prior consent of the user.
